I found your website brousing the web. I am currently building a website, davidchinn.com, to showcase myself but to also to help consumers to work the “retail market” to their advantage. Being in a retail business since the age of 13, I would like to educate the customer how retailers operate and how they have sucess or fail. I have read some of your blogs and I have to agree, customer service has fallen to an all time low. However the majority of retailers have this concept (bad service). For those who want to shop a big box store or even a small store have come to accept this. At the same time, the younger generation is utilizing the internet. It will be interesting to see how these giants stay in business. Best Buy has made it so far, however Circuit City couldnt do it. Circuit’s slogan used to be service, however they lost that niche when Best Buy became their biggest competitor. We’ll see. Interesting site.
